Fluid loss control

CLOTONEX® filtration control agent is a modified lignitic product used for filtration control in invert emulsion drilling fluid systems (organophillic lignite). CLOTONEX®  filtration control agent can effectively control and reduce HTHP Filtrate at temperatures up to 200°C. Can be used independently or in conjunction with asphalt-based STABILITE® OBM fluid loss control agent.

OPTITROL® is a Tall Oil Pitch based versatile fluid loss control agent designed to provide superior wellbore stability as well as stable fluid loss and rheological properties of the drilling fluid even at bottomhole temperatures up to 220⁰C

ADVANTA® is a cost-effective oil-based drilling fluid HTHP fluid loss control additive (can be used in diesel oil, mineral oil, crude, synthetics). It is a white free-flowing polymeric powder. Can be easily added to the mud through the conventional hopper and dissolves rapidly. ADVANTA® is recommended to use in the reservoir drilling fluids as it does not plugs the pores and does not affect reservoir filtration properties.

LIQUITROL® OBM filtration control agent is a liquid polymeric product composed of 50% active component in a solvent that is compatible with the conventional OBM systems. LIQUITROL® can be blended easily through a mud hopper or can be added directly into the active system. It is a polymer suspension, may provide secondary viscosity to the mud system.

Gilsonite/Asphaltite filtration control additive. Due to the broad PSD it plugs the microfractures to form a sealing membrane which helps stabilize shales and prevent sloughing. STABILITE®OBM filtration control additive is used in invert emulsion oil-based drilling fluids systems to control and reduce mud filtrate and create a tough, slick filter cake. STABILITE®OBM can also effectively stabilize brittle shales and reduce washouts in interbedded sand sequences.
