BLACKTROL® is a liquid asphalt  dispersion form blended with additives and  surfactants. It is used as a borehole stabilizer and sealing agent to bridge the pores and micro-fractures and to create an effective barrier that prevents destabilizing pressure transmission into the shale.

Natural non-ionic polymer readily soluble in fresh and saltwater environments. Used in drilling muds to reduce mud filtrate in most water-based systems. CLEAN-STAR consists of two types of polysaccharides: amylopectin and amylose. During the manufacturing process pregelatination occurs: the starch is heated until protective amylopectin coating is ruptured and inner amylose is released.

POLYTROL® is a new generation organic polyamine shale inhibitor – ether amines. It is a key inhibitive ingredient of the new HPWBM - high-performance water-based muds. This type of mud has comparable inhibitive properties to oil-based mud (OBM).

KLA-FREE® - liquid polyamine shale inhibitor. It is a mildly cationic low molecular weight polymer supplied as a highly active aqueous solution. Protects water-sensitive shales and clays by decreasing the shale tendency to absorb water, suppress clay minerals hydration. Inhibition mechanism is similar to K+ ions, but in this case NH4+ plays a role of an agent that suppress interlayer water absorption.
