SUPERSLIDER® GOLD is an ester-based additive for the reduction of torque and drag in water- based muds. This product demonstrates exceptional reduction in metal-to-metal and formation- to-metal friction when added to freshwater or saltwater drilling fluids at low concentration.

SUPERSLIDER® GOLD is used in highly deviated or high differential pressure wells, in situations where torque, drag and sticking are likely.

It also exhibits a unique wettability characteristic that lowers the potential for bit and bottom-hole assembly balling.

Recommended treatment

It easily blends into all mud systems, can be add- ed through the mixing hopper or directly to the active system.

Recommended initial concentration 0.5-3% v/v (depending mainly on the mud density) for optimal performance. Further periodic treatments are rec- ommended to maintain the desired concentration.
