HITEMP®200 is a synthetic AA/AMPS copolymer specifically designed for water-based drilling fluids used in high-temperature environments.
It is normally used at temperatures when conventional polymers like starch or cellulose lose their efficiency.
This polymer is a free-flowing white powder that easily hydrates and dissolves in water without forming “fish-eyes”.
HITEMP®200 improves overall thermal mud stability as well as helps control sloughing shale and maintain cuttings integrity.
Adds excellent low-shear rate viscosity and suspension properties to the drilling fluid.

Recommended treatment
1,8-7 ppb (5-20 kg/m3) depending on the mud formulation and desired HTHP fluid loss and rheology.
