Description
EXTRAMUL®SUPREME is a highly effective temperature stable TOFA polyamide used as a oil-based muds emulsifier and wetting agent.
Even at low concentration of EXTRAMUL®SUPREME the surface tension between water and hydrocarbon phases is greatly reduced and a very stable water-in-oil emulsion is built.
Solid particles surfaces absorb emulsifier molecules thus lowering the intersurface energy and keeping them in oil-wet state.
EXTRAMUL®SUPREME is compatible with any types of base oil (synthetic/mineral oils, diesel, etc), and any type of water phase – CaCl2, NaCl, seawater, freshwater, etc.

Recommended treatment
Recommended concentration – 5.0 – 10.0 ppb (14.0-28.0 kg/m3) depending on the mud weight, OWR and downhole temperature
